Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Cairo to Alamein, approximately a 3-hour journey. First, visit the Alamein Museum & Cemetery, where you’ll explore the historical significance of this site, a key location during World War II. The museum showcases artifacts and stories of pivotal battles that shaped history.

Continue your journey to Marsa Matrouh, a Mediterranean coastal city, where you’ll stop for a relaxing break and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea.

Afterward, embark on the final leg of your journey, a 6-hour drive to Siwa Oasis. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind after a long day of travel.

Day 2: Siwa Exploration

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the wonders of Siwa. Your first stop is Shali Fortress, a fascinating ancient structure made of kershef (mud and salt), offering stunning views of the surrounding oasis.

Next, visit the Temple of Alexander in Aghurmi Village, dedicated to the legendary conqueror Alexander the Great. Explore the Temple of Amun Ra in Ubeyda, one of Siwa’s most sacred temples, dating back to ancient Egyptian times.

Day 3: Siwa Desert Safari & Bir Wahid

After a hearty breakfast, embark on an exciting Siwa Desert Safari. Your first stop is Maraki Village, where you’ll experience a traditional Siwan settlement and learn about the local way of life.

Next, visit the Great Siwa Mountain, home to prehistoric footprints dating back thousands of years. Continue your journey through the Dune Safari & Fossil Area, where you’ll drive through golden dunes and see ancient coral fossils from the Cambrian era.

Make your way to Shiata Lake, a peaceful desert oasis, where you can spot flamingos and take a refreshing swim. For some added adventure, try sand surfing, gliding down the desert dunes for an adrenaline rush.
